GFI MailArchiver 6.1 SR 1 (build 20090526) has been released and is available for download
Changes within this service release include:
- FIXED: In certain conditions when a user moves part of the folder structure in Microsoft Exchange Mailbox, this will not be shown correctly in Outlook Connector and Web User Interface.
- FIXED: Emails deleted from Archive Stores through Retention Policies will not be removed from Outlook Connector.
- FIXED: Browse Conversations will not show most recent emails on top when using Firebird/Embedded Archive Store.
- FIXED: Most recent emails will not be shown in Outlook Connector.
- FIXED: GFI MailArchiver shortcut in Start Menu does not work in Spanish installations.
- FIXED: In some access control scenarios, some users would not be able to log in and receive error 7102.
- FIXED: After adding a personal label to an email, it will not be shown in the correct folder in Web User Interface.
Note:
The GFI MailArchiver PST Exporter included in the build is only in English. A translated version (English, German, Italian, and Spanish) will be available for download from the GFI web site soon after this service release.

From this build, a post-install tool will run to upgrade all Archive Stores and Auditing schemas. However, you can choose to skip this step. If you do so, you need to manually upgrade the Archive Stores created by the GFI MailArchiver 5, GFI MailArchiver 6, and GFI MailArchiver 6.1 builds. To upgrade the existing Archive Stores open Configuration->”Archive Stores” page, click the “Edit Settings” button next to each archive store and complete the Database Wizard. Then open Configuration -> “Mail Servers to Archive” and activate archiving for each journaling location.
