How do I set Internet Explorer's security level to Medium?

When using EndPointScan for the first time, an ActiveX control must be downloaded and installed. The ActiveX control needed for EndPointScan is blocked if the Internet Explorer security level is set to High or a custom level based on it. The security level should be set to Medium as follows:

  1. Open Internet Explorer. 
  2. Select Tools, then Internet Options.
  3. Click the Security tab and select the Internet zone. 
  4. If you are using a customized security level, click Default Level.
  5. Move the slider to Medium.
