If a personal firewall is installed on the computer where GFI EventsManager is running, make sure not to block the following ports:
- 135 - Used for exchanging network messages.
- 162 - UDP/TCP Uniderection port used by GFI EventsManager to receive SNMP Traps.
- 514 – UDP/TCP Unidirectional port used by GFI EventsManager for the collection of SYSLOG messages.
- 1433 – TCP Bidirectional port used by GFI EventsManager to communicate with the SQL Server database backend.
