How to configure GFI LANguard to scan IP x.x.x.0 - x.x.x.255

By default, when scanning an IP range, GFI LANguard will scan IPs from x.x.x.1 to x.x.x.254.
In order to configure GFI LANguard to scan IPs x.x.x.0 and x.x.x.255, you need to proceed as follows.
Identify the ID of the Profile you want to use for scanning the range
- Locate the Operationsprofiles.mdb database (By default this will be located in the: <..\GFI\LANguard\Data\> folder.)
- Double click on the ‘Profile’ table to open it.
- In the ‘ProfileName’ column locate the name of the profile you are using.
- Take note of the ‘ConfigID’ for this profile.
Edit the selected Profile to Scan IPs x.x.x.0 - x.x.x.255
- In the Operationsprofiles.mdb database double click on the ‘Configuration’ table to open it.
- In the ‘ConfigID’ column, locate the ConfigID taken note of previously and take note of the row.
- Locate the ‘Scan0and255’ column and set this field from ‘0’ to ‘1’ in the row noted in step 2.
