Query keywords: builds, upgrade
Note: The GFI products mentioned in this article allow you to check if you are running the latest build of your product from the product configuration -> General -> Check for latest builds. You will be notified when a new build for your product is available.
You can download the latest build of the latest version of the GFI products from http://www.gfi.com/pages/files.htm. Select the product you want to update to go to the downloads page for the specific product.
If you do not own the product, you need to enter your details in order to get an evaluation license key. Otherwise, you can provide your customer ID and password to download immediately.
After downloading the product, build upgrades will just require you to run the installation on the machine where you are running the product. This will automatically un-install the previous version. Depending on the product that you are using, the installation of the new build will start automatically. Alternatively, you may be required to run the installation again to start the installation.
Build upgrades will retain your previous configuration settings.
Notes:
- When you upgrade to a new version, you will need to upgrade your license key. More information on how this can be done can be found at KBID003408
