Important notes for users running Microsoft Windows 2000:

Microsoft Windows 2000 is not supported by GFI ReportCenter 3.6.   Customers running this operating system have the following options:

  • The ReportPack and GFI ReportCenter can be installed on a different machine than the main product. So if the main product is installed on a Microsoft Windows 2000, install the ReportPack and GFI ReportCenter 3.6 on a different machine that runs one of the supported operating systems listed above and then connect it to the same database as used by the main application. (To change database source go to “Options” > “Database Source” > right click > select “Set Database Source…”).
     
  • GFI ReportPack applications released before GFI ReportCenter 3.6 (build number is less than 20090623) are compatible with GFI ReportCenter 3.5 which does support Microsoft Windows 2000. Before installing the ReportPack you have to manually download and install GFI ReportCenter 3.5 from this location: www.gfi.com/reportcenter35/download
