Query keywords: anti-spam, local domains

If you are seeing emails in the monitor but no email are being blocked and no disclaimers are added to outbound emails, it is possible that the inbound (local) domains are not configured correctly.

To configure the local domains:

  1. Open the GFI MailEssentials configuration
  2. Right click on the 'General' node -> 'Properties' -> 'Inbound (local) domains' tab.
  3. Add all your domains that you want GFI MailEssentials to monitor.

In this case, it is important to note that the Anti-Spam module will only check inbound emails (emails destined to a domain in the inbound (local) domains list). Disclaimers are only added to outbound emails (emails coming from a domain in the inbound (local) domainslist)
